About CustomsTariffs.com
Operator
CustomsTariffs.com is operated by Copyvisor OÜ, registry code 16023836, Aia tn 5-3, 10111 Tallinn, Estonia. It is independent and is not a customs authority, tax authority, law firm, or customs broker.
CustomsTariffs.com is a free, open-access directory of customs duty rates and Harmonized System (HS) codes. We aggregate tariff data from published tariff references and international trade databases to help users begin tariff research. It is independent and is not a customs authority or customs brokerage service.
Coverage
We currently cover 18 countries across the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and major global economies. Our database contains tariff records in English and, where present in the source mapping, Arabic. Search coverage is broader than the set of pages we ask search engines to index.
Data Sources
Our tariff data comes from two primary sources:
- GCC Common External Tariff (CET) — Used for Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain. Data sourced from the GCC Integrated Tariff reference published by ZATCA. The same reference dataset is currently displayed for all six destinations; it has not been independently reconciled against each national customs system.
- WITS / UNCTAD TRAINS — Used for Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Algeria, Lebanon, Pakistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Turkey, India, China, United States. Data sourced from the World Integrated Trade Solution (WITS) database, which provides historical HS6 Most-Favoured-Nation (MFN) averages. These are indicative averages, not shipment-specific national tariff rulings. The source year is displayed on each country and tariff page.
How the HS Code System Works
The Harmonized System (HS) is an international nomenclature developed by the World Customs Organization (WCO) for classifying traded products. It is used by more than 200 countries as the basis for customs tariffs and trade statistics. The system organizes products into 21 sections, 97 chapters, and thousands of headings and subheadings. Each product is assigned a unique numeric code (typically 6-12 digits) that determines its customs duty rate.
